Camp Experience: Chicken (Kitchen) ‘24

📧 mimoya@stanford.edu

Miguel (he/him) is so excited to return to Camp this summer!!!! As a member of the chicken, his days were filled with cooking and preparing delicious meals surrounded by an amazing team of chefs. When he wasn’t in the kitchen, you could find Miguel on spontaneous lake jumps, hiking around Desolation Wilderness, or casual guitar sessions. Miguel is more than ready to create meaningful connections and life-long memories, and help cultivate community and love as one of the ICOM At-Large Member. On campus, Miguel is a senior majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering, interested in renewable energy projects, and is an undergraduate peer advisor. He’s been involved in building community in Stanford Latino, while advocating for Stanford worker’s rights (SWR), and performing Nicaraguan Folklore in the Bay Area. When he’s not working, Miguel likes to spend time with his friends around campus, watch movies, or go on late-night drives in the area. Miguel is beyond thrilled to meet new people and hear their life-stories. Don’t ever hesitate to reach out to talk with Miguel about Camp or about life in general.
