Nayeli Chapa
Camp Experience: Marmots Counselor ‘24, Crawdads Counselor ‘25
There truly is no better place than home: and that is exactly what camp is to Nayeli (she/her) (‘27). Within the bustling kitchen, warm cabins, cool water, energetic activities, and tranquil nature, she has had the opportunity to meet people who have become her lifelong friends. At camp, Nayeli has absolutely cherished her time as both a Marmot and Crawdad counselor (the best kids groups ever!!). Beyond working as a counselor, you can find her playing Staph v. Guest volleyball (Staph >>), on a stand up paddle board, or laughing hysterically with co-staph and guests alike. On campus, she studies bioengineering, but loves to explore all academic outlets including poetry, music, law and politics, etc. In her free time, she enjoys playing intramural volleyball, singing in choral groups (or in the shower), studying in El Centro Chicano y Latino, and exploring her new surroundings. She is thrilled to return for her third summer in the most magical place in the world and is even more excited to share it with others. If you're looking to hear about how fire camp is, how to make friendship bracelets from yarn, or simply a study buddy, you've come to the right place!
