Camp Experience: Marmots Counselor (11-12yr olds) 2023

Danny ('25) is so so stoked to return for a second summer at Camp after a first full of glitter and SO MUCH magic. This last summer, Danny vicariously relived his middle school years as a Marmots (11-12 year-olds) counselor with tons of Taylor Swift, Just Dance, and an ungodly amount of mafia. When he'd give up trying to fit in with the cool kids, he could be found playing guitar on the lifeguard stand, DJing a rave at breakfast, or sleeping under the stars on a Hobie Sailboat. Not only did he learn how to tie-dye and make friendship bracelets, but Danny also experienced so much growth learning many various ways to express love and to show up in different spaces. Back on campus, Danny studies Engineering Physics with a focus in Quantum Science & Information and a minor in International Relations. He enjoys all sorts of things from jazz nights at CoHo to racing down whitewater in a kayak. He's always down to try new things out too such as auditioning for Gaieties and every a cappella group Stanford offers! He didn't get into any of these so he'll switch it up and try to walk onto the football team next year! As a Coordinator for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Danny hopes to bridge all three of these values and nurture the culture of love, safety, and support felt throughout Camp. Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to talk with Danny about Camp or to just chat. He never turns down a chance to make a friend!
