Brad Burton, Staff Director
Camp Experience: Kitchen, Yahoos, Teens, Snoopers
Brad (History & Italian '07) graduated last year and is enjoying still having a reason to be on campus all the time. He can't wait, however, to get back to the mountains, where he feels more at home than anywhere else in the world. Brad is now actually employed to think about Camp, so feel free to shoot him an email about literally anything relating to Camp. Or Italian soccer. Or 20th century Eastern European history. Or the GREs. Or whatever.

Alie Fohner, Kids' Group Coordinator
Camp Experience: Art Instructor, Snoopers, Kids' Group Coordinator
Alie (Biology coterm '08) just couldn't leave Stanford yet and she's super happy another year at school means another summer at Camp. Besides researching asthma, you'll find Alie riding her bike in true grad-student style, climbing mountains, and dreaming about adventure traveling. If you have questions about either individual instructor or kids groups roles, about the wilderness around Camp, about what it's like to be a pirate, or about the treasures she found while cleaning out the Kids' Closet, Alie's the one to ask. She'll love the excuse to talk about Camp just a little bit more.

Rebecca Milo, Head of the Ski Dock
Camp Experience: Kitchen, Ski Dock
Milo is older than God, and is majoring in Product Design and Mechanical Engineering. She loves anything that can be done in a lake, playing with kids, traveling, and riding around in pimped out golf carts. She loves to talk about Camp, so feel free to ask her questions about life in the kitchen, finding porcupines, knee surgery, South Lake Tahoe taxi drivers, or anything else.

Jess Lam, Coordinator for Diversity and Inclusion
Camp Experience: Tennis Instructor
Jess will never fail to surprise you. From birth he has been trained to be an exemplary member of society and the league of extraordinary gentleman. He splits time between his fraternity, tennis, Stanford's social scene, Camp, noodling (just ask him about it), and trying to figure out what he should do with his life. If you have any questions about noodling, ranching, or Camp he would love to answer them!

Tom James, Interviewing Committee
Camp Experience: Hiking
Tom (Mechanical Engineering '08) loves hiking, climbing, building things, and throwing things. He takes intramural sports way too seriously, enjoys baseball, volleyball, squash, table tennis, and is a captain of the Stanford Men's Ultimate Team. Ask Tom anything about Camp, Desolation Wilderness, and never settling for boring internships. |

Lily Mitchell, Interviewing Committee
Camp Experience: Munchkins
Lily (Humbio, '08) is a RA in Larkin this year and, in addition to loving freshmen, loves frisbee and lacrosse, swimming in the ocean, and talking to kids about light-up sneakers, superheroes, and the personal hygiene of friendly lake pirates. Ask her about working with tiny children, day-off adventures, and anything else that might be on your mind about Stanford Sierra Camp.

Nick Streets, Interviewing Committee
Camp Experience: Yahoos
Nick (Mechanical Engineering '09) had the ultimate experience at Camp as you can obviously tell by this Camp picture displaying his Mohawk, the long goatee, and the bandage over his ear. His interests include being on the Stanford Lacrosse team, hiking, star gazing, lake jumping, hanging out with kids, dancing as if he had jelly for bones, and acting silly. Those last 6 all happened at Camp, by the way. Come put a smile on Nick's face by asking to hear stories from Camp so he can reminisce.
